Cover is NOT suitable for:
✘ Anyone under the age of 18
✘ Applications for cover if equipment is older than 2 years from date of purchase from new
✘ Applicants who don’t own the equipment that they are applying for cover
✘ Mobiles, Tablets and Laptops covered by a similar insurance

Please check! Sometimes banks, credit card services or other insurers may provide a Mobile Phone, Tablet or Laptop cover type policy providing similar cover to this one. Please check that you aren’t already covered before purchasing Mobile Phone, Tablet or Laptop cover and buying cover you may not require.
Your Policy Documents
Your Policy documents will, for convenience be delivered to the email address you provided when applying for cover, once your application has been processed and accepted. Please keep check your email inbox for your documents as they may have gone into “Spam” folder. Documents must be read together as one to fully understand the cover provided.
Payment for these plans is by monthly direct debit only
Are you eligible to apply?
In addition to the plan's Terms and Conditions any SIM card involved must be registered with a provider and in current use. In the event of a claim, evidence of proof of current SIM use may be requested. Your insured device must be less than 24 months old at time of policy inception.
Cooling off period-Peace of mind with your purchase
If you decide to go ahead with your purchase today you will have 14 days from your date of application to review it. You can cancel at any stage during those 14 days. If any money has been paid it will be refunded to you. During this cooling off period we are unable to accept any claims on equipment that will be more than 6 months old at the policy’s inception date.
You may however submit a claim immediately if the equipment is less than 6 months old at the policy’s inception date. In the event of a successful claim however, you will then be bound by the cancellation terms and conditions.
Please see your policy schedule to see if there is an additional waiting period before you can make a claim.
If you decide to cancel your policy prior to any claims being made during the current policy period, you can, without penalty. No further direct debits will be taken.
You will be unable to make claims if you do not keep up with your policy premiums or any information provided is incorrect.
Has my policy got an excess and how do I pay?
Before making a claim you should check on your policy schedule to see how much the excess on your cover is. You will have to pay the first amount of any claim that is shown as the excess according to your schedule. This payment must be made at the time of claiming.
We can only accept payment using the following cards: MasterCard, Maestro, Visa or Visa Delta. A separate excess payment is required for each claim you make. Please see the policy terms and conditions for further details.
If your equipment is stolen
we will replace it*.
If your equipment is lost and it isn't a MacBook or laptop
and you have selected this element of cover and paid the additional premium we will replace your equipment*.
If a breakdown of your equipment
occurs outside of the manufacturer’s guarantee or warranty period we will pay the repair costs. If we are unable to economically repair your equipment then, a replacement item will be provided*.
If you have a valid claim
for theft or loss of your equipment, this covers the costs of any calls up to the sum insured made by another person using your equipment without your permission following theft or loss.
Our maximum liability
in respect of any one claim for Theft, Accidental Damage and Breakdown will be the replacement cost of Your Equipment and in any event shall not exceed £2500. Our maximum liability in respect of any one claim for Misuse of Equipment shall not exceed £1000.
If you decide that for any reason
this policy does not meet your insurance needs then please return it to the administrator within 14 days from the day of purchase . On the condition that no claims have been made or are pending, we will then refund your premium in full.
Theft loss or accidental damage
to the equipment is excluded whilst left in an unattended motor vehicle unless the Equipment is concealed from view and all doors, windows and other openings of the vehicle have been left closed, securely locked and properly fastened with the ignition and other keys removed and such door, window, opening, lock or fastener has been forcibly and violently accessed to gain entry
For misuse of equipment claims
you must provide your original airtime bill showing the calls that were made following theft.
The policy will renew automatically
The policy will automatically renew each year unless You contact the administrator to advise that You do not want to renew the policy. We will contact you approximately one month before renewal is due to notify you of renewal.

Why do I need Mobile Phone, Tablet or Laptop Insurance?
How do I go about making a claim?
In the event of theft or loss you must, within 24 hours:
• call the airtime service provider to bar any further use of your equipment
• call the police and obtain a Crime Reference Number
• and within 48 hours, call the Administrator as per the Claims Procedure in the Terms and Conditions .
I already have some cover in place; is this cover the same?
You may find that you have cover from your bank, credit card provider, buildings and/or contents insurer. You will need to decide for yourself as to which policy is better for you before making a decision. Please read the full policy documentation to help you make your decision.
Am I still covered when I go abroad?
You may submit a claim whilst abroad, however, you must not have been outside the UK for a period longer than 90 days.
I've got quite a number of 'PAID FOR' apps on my device. Am I covered for these?
No, the costs of any claim whatsoever relating to software or any data changes are excluded under the cover.
